2015 – Year in Review

2015 – Year in Review

The past year created a whirlwind of both excitement and growth for Board Member Connect.

Our client list grew substantially as we worked with organizations from New York to San Francisco, Los Angeles to Chicago, Washington D.C., Denver, Austin and many other major metropolitan areas across the United States.

After much discussion and deliberation, we brought back our basic service in 2015. There are so many startups and smaller nonprofits needing help recruiting entry-level board members that we felt it was our duty to provide them with a low cost option. The response has been overwhelming!

A real perk of what we do is getting the opportunity to work with a wide range of nonprofit organizations representing various missions. Some of those that stood out this past year included visually impaired children and adults working to become independent, homeless men and women using running as a tool to get their lives back, inner-city literacy and arts programs, an alliance of school-based health centers, bike riding for developmentally disabled individuals, and a Liberia based program working with children and families affected by war.

As great as 2015 was we are even more excited about 2016. To start the new year, we redesigned our website in an effort to more easily communicate our services. We also hope to announce a major partnership with a national organization soon. This is something that has been discussed behind the scenes for more than a year and we are beyond thrilled to reveal details shortly.

If Board Member Connect conducted a search for you in 2015, thank you for the opportunity. We enjoyed helping to build your board. If you are thinking about using Board Member Connect, don’t hesitate to reach out. We would love the chance to work with your organization!

Have a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!

Board Member Connect was a real lifesaver for our organization. We were in desperate need of an infusion of new energy on our Board and we lacked the time or talent to look outside our immediate circles. We are quite pleased with Board Member Connect and it was well worth the investment.
